Situated in the heart of one of the most exciting areas of the city, Arts Club features two rooms, the glorious main amphitheatre and the smaller upstairs loft. With capacities ranging from 250 up to 1,300, Liverpool’s Arts Club has seen some of music’s hottest stars grace the stage as well as those artists who are about to break. Foals, Paul Weller and Skepta have all played the venue in recent years, cementing its claim as one of the city’s premier music venues.
Built in the early 1800s, the venue has long played a part in Liverpool’s vibrant creative culture, and was the original meeting place for the Liverpool Royal Institute, the first art institution outside of London. Two centuries of rich history have occurred behind its doors. The venue has hosted world-famous club nights, been written about in celebrity autobiographies, and there are even rumours that Charles Dickens read extracts of his work in the buildings amphitheatre.
Now a high quality concert venue, Arts Club showcases the finest in local and national talent, as well as hosting music, comedy, club nights and much more.
