FKP Scorpio takes over Nordic Live
German concert giant FKP Scorpio takes over 66% of Norwegian booking agency Nordic Live.

Joël Schwalenstöcker started Nordic Live with Erica Leypoldt, Kim Nordbæk and Ottar Schanke Eikum.

The founders sell down after they started the company in January 2017. In 2018, Nordic Live had a turnover of NOK 52.6 million and a pre-tax profit of NOK 4.2 million.

The agency represents over 60 Nordic artists, who in 2019 performed 1,000 concerts in Norway. Among the artists in the portfolio are Alan Walker, Kurt Nilsen and Ina Wroldsen.

- When we came into contact with FKP Scorpio, we knew right away that these were the right partners to take the company to the next level. We are doing this with the wind in the back and are delighted at the opportunities it will offer for us and our artists, ”says co-founder Erica Leypoldt in a press release.

FKP Scorpio run major European festivals such as Hurricane and Southside Festival in Germany.

The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
