Luger opens in Norway
Swedish booking agency and concert promoter Luger moves into Norway with a new office in Oslo.

The office will be headed by Torgeir Gullaksen - a legend in the Norwegian live music industry, with over 20 years of experience organizing and producing concerts and festivals.

Torgeir`s career started in the late 90`s when he became part of Gunnar Eide Concerts (now Live Nation Norway). In 2005, he founded the company Goldstar, which he also operated for over 13 years. His track record is exceptional and includes concerts with Arctic Monkeys, Queens Of The Stone Age, Radiohead, Rival Sons, Tame Impala, The Black Keys, Ben Howard, Arcade Fire, Simple Minds, Dermot Kennedy, Belle & Sebastian, Michael Kiwanuka and The Hellacopters - to name a few.

“I’m delighted to be joining the Luger family and look forward to working closely with Ola and the rest of the team. Over the last 20 years or so, I’ve had the pleasure of working with Luger on both international and domestic acts and consider them the best in class in developing new talent over here. My aim is to firmly establish Luger as a strong brand in Norway and continue working with the acts I already have existing relations with, as well as becoming the natural promoter for emerging acts in Norway.” says Torgeir Gullaksen, Luger Norge.

“We have always had a close collaboration and relationship with Torgeir and have worked with him in many different ways over the years. That he now becomes part of Luger and runs the business in the Norwegian market is a natural next step, which we are very happy to be able to take with him. Torgeir is a fantastic person, a great organizer and a great music lover. For me, it`s the ultimate combination, ”says Ola Broquist, co-founder of Luger.

Luger is one of the Nordic region`s leading concert and festival organizers, and also agency and tour producer for some of the country`s leading artists. Luger organizes over 300 concerts a year, side by side with arranging festivals such as Way Out West, Åre Sessions and - together with Live Nation Sweden and C3 - Lollapalooza Stockholm.

In 2018, Luger also opened an agency in Denmark, led by Sarah Sølvsteen. In November 2019, the Denmark office was expanded with Xenia Grigat, as the company`s Head Promoter.

With the rapidly growing operations in Denmark and the newly opened office in Norway, Luger is now looking to expand its presence in the Nordic region.
