UK agent Mick Griffiths passes away
Tributes have been paid from many live music industry professionals from around the world for Mick Griffiths, founder of London based agency Art & Industry who has passed away.

Griffiths spent 30 years at Asgard Agency working alongside Paul Fenn before opening Art & Industry Agency in 2010.

During his many years as an Agent, Griffiths has worked with artists such as Mogwai, The Go-Team, Ocean Colour Scene and The Tindersticks.

DHP Family’s Head of Live Anton Lockwood described Griffiths as a “proper independent agent who saw things his own way and always took the creative path”.

Griffiths also worked as an artist under the pseudonym Schneider where he created minimalist geometric artworks, one of which he painted on the back wall of music venue The Garage in Islington, North London only 4 years ago.

Sébastien Vuignier who worked with Griffiths on many concerts described him as a “wonderful person and passionate booking agent”.

Tributes have also been paid by the artists he has worked with including Ocean Colour Scene who have said “Mick has helped plan the tours for over 25 years since the days of our album Moseley Shoals. Our thoughts are with his friends and family”.
