Big Sean has inked a new management deal with Brandon Silverstein’s S10 Entertainment, according to Billboard.
Previously, the Detroit rapper was under Roc Nation`s management for ten years.
“Brandon shares the vision, understands where I’m headed, and I’m incredibly excited to work with him and the S10 team,” Sean commented.
This announcement comes alongside another significant reveal: the Grammy-nominated artist`s sixth solo album, Better Me Than You, is set to be released in August. This follows Sean`s recent chart success with his feature on Eminem’s “Tobey” featuring BabyTron, which climbed to No. 24 on the Hot 100, marking his 55th entry on the chart.
“Big Sean is an incredible talent who, even after topping charts, breaking records, winning awards, and headlining worldwide, is just getting started,” said Silverstein, S10 founder and CEO. “I can’t wait for fans to hear the new music.”
On the Billboard 200, the rapper has landed seven albums in the top 10. His last three solo albums — 2015’s Dark Sky Paradise, 2017’s I Decided, and 2020’s Detroit 2 — all reached No. 1.
Big Sean has already released the lead single “Yes,” where he addresses his critics, rapping: “Would rather give y’all my soul, I don’t have to sell it.” In addition to his own album rollout, he recently appeared with Rick Ross and Lil Wayne on DJ Premier`s new track “Ya Don’t Stop.”
Silverstein, who currently manages Myke Towers, has previously managed Anitta and Normani. S10 Publishing, the company’s publishing division, includes chart-topping clients such as Jasper Harris (Tate McRae), Harv (Justin Bieber), and Kavi (Tommy Richman), among others.
