Legendary Britpop band Oasis has announced additional reunion tour dates for North America and Mexico next year. The newly revealed international shows, announced today (September 30), will kick off on August 24 at the Rogers Stadium in Toronto, Canada.
The Gallagher brothers will then head to the U.S. for three major performances, including stops at Soldier Field in Chicago on August 28, and MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on August 31. The North American leg concludes with a show at Los Angeles` iconic Rose Bowl Stadium on September 6.
Additionally, Oasis will perform in Mexico City on September 12 at the Estadio GNP Seguros, marking their first Mexican show in years. Cage The Elephant will be the special guest for all dates.
In a statement, the band said, “America, Oasis is coming. You have one last chance to prove that you loved us all along.” For Mexican fans, they added, “Gente de México, prepárense. Los Hermanos están en camino” ("People of Mexico, prepare yourselves. The Brothers are on the way").
These new dates follow their sold-out UK and Ireland tour, which includes extra shows in London due to high demand.
