Eurosonic Noorderslag (ESNS), the leading showcase event for emerging European music, has confirmed the addition of all fifteen nominees for the 2025 Music Moves Europe (MME) Awards to its 39th edition line-up. These artists will all perform at the ESNS25 festival.
The announcement follows the unveiling of the MME Awards nominees, which took place during Ireland Music Week in Dublin, the SoAlive Music Conference in Sofia, and Reconnect in Brno.
The MME Awards nominees set to perform include Boko Yout (Sweden), Daniela Pes (Italy), HILLARI (Norway), Joalin (Finland), Judeline (Spain), Kingfishr (Ireland), Loverman (Belgium), Maella (Czech Republic), Mina Okabe (Denmark), Naomi Sharon (Netherlands), Night Tapes (Estonia), UCHE YARA (Austria), Woomb (Bulgaria), Yamê (France), and Zimmer90 (Germany).
All nominated acts will also participate in the European Talent Exchange Program (ETEP), enhancing their chances of being booked for major European festivals after their performances at ESNS.
The MME Awards, supported by the European Union, celebrate emerging artists who represent the future of European music. Previous winners include renowned acts such as Alyona Alyona, Christine and the Queens, Dua Lipa, Hozier, Meduza, ROSALÍA, and Stromae. The winners of the 2025 MME Awards will be announced at a ceremony on January 16, 2025, during the ESNS festival.
In addition to the MME Awards nominees, ESNS had earlier revealed 46 other acts for its 2025 line-up, including Baby Lasagna (Croatia), Glintsal (Belgium), Käärijä (Finland), and MRCY (UK). The event will also feature keynotes and prominent speakers as part of the ESNS Conference.
