German Promoter Wizard Live, a subsidiary of DEAG, celebrated its 20th anniversary in Frankfurt with a grand event attended by around 300 guests from the music industry.
The occasion also marked the company’s recent rebranding from Wizard Promotions to Wizard Live, signaling a new era for the agency.
The celebration took place at the Massif Central in Frankfurt, where a giant inflatable Gene Simmons statue, a nod to the last Kiss tour, greeted attendees in the courtyard.
The statue set the stage for an evening of rock `n` roll-themed festivities, with guests arriving at 6 PM and many staying well past midnight.
The Massif Central, usually a lunchtime spot for Frankfurt`s bankers, was transformed into a rock `n` roll haven, a fitting tribute to the agency`s legacy.
Wizard Live’s Managing Director, Oliver Hoppe, and Founder, Co-Owner, and Chief Advisor A&R, Ossy Hoppe, opened the event with brief but emotional speeches. Ossy Hoppe, a veteran of the music business for decades, expressed his gratitude to the team, saying, "Success is never achieved alone. My thanks go to a fantastic team."
The rebranding to Wizard Live represents a fresh direction for the company, which has played a key role in bringing rock `n` roll to stages across Europe for 20 years. The father-son duo of Ossy and Oliver Hoppe continue to lead the agency as it looks toward the future, building on their successful legacy in the live music industry.
