UK based event company The NEC Group has appointed Jen Mitchell as Managing Director for Arenas, effective November 4.
In her new role, Mitchell will oversee bp pulse LIVE and Utilita Arena Birmingham, with an immediate focus on launching new premium seating and hospitality areas at both venues.
Mitchell joins with over 25 years in the live events industry. Previously, she served as General Manager at Manchester’s AO Arena, where she led a £50 million redevelopment, and held roles as General Manager at Leeds` first direct Arena and MD at Kings Place.
Jen Mitchell said, “It’s fantastic to be joining the team at the NEC Group at such an exciting time. It’s a unique opportunity to lead a team across two of the best arenas in the country and I’m looking forward to getting started!
