UK-based booking agency FMLY has closed, with its assets liquidated, according to Resident Advisor.

In a statement on January 30th, staff said they were made redundant without warning last Friday.

Agents are now working to manage the fallout with clients and promoters. CEO Amber Brzeski (pictured) declined to comment.

FMLY`s website and Instagram have been deleted, and liquidators reportedly arrived at its Brighton HQ this week. Several artists claim they are still owed payments.

Founded in 2015 by Brzeski and Darren James-Thomas, FMLY represented acts like Anthony Naples and Lefto. James-Thomas departed in 2023 and was later accused by Ron Trent of fraud and withholding booking fees.

FMLY staff`s statement in full:
All staff members and agents were unexpectedly informed via email of the imminent closure of We Are FMLY Limited on the afternoon of Friday, January 24th, and were notified of their immediate redundancy. No prior warning or insight was provided by the directors of the agency.

The respective agents are navigating the complexities of the situation with clients and promoters, and doing all they can to support those affected.

This is a developing situation, and it`s very difficult for team members to comment publicly before a full investigation has been carried out by the liquidators.
