Spain’s live music industry is projected to generate more than €725 million in 2024, marking the highest revenue ever recorded for the third consecutive year.
The Association of Music Promoters (APM) announced the figures during the presentation of the 2025 Live Music Yearbook in Barcelona.
Ticket sales revenue for 2024 reached €725,609,673, reflecting a 25.32% increase from the previous year’s total of €578.9 million.
Madrid, Catalonia, and Andalusia led ticket sales among Spain’s regions. Melendi ranked as the top-selling national artist, while Bruce Springsteen led international tour sales.
The report highlights the continued growth of Spain’s live music sector, emphasizing its cultural and economic impact, including its role in tourism and local business promotion.
Spain’s festival scene also experienced high attendance. Arenal Sound in Borriana was the most attended festival, welcoming 300,000 fans, while Primavera Sound Barcelona saw a significant rise, drawing 268,000 attendees. Other major festivals included Viña Rock in Villarrobledo (240,000 attendees), Mad Cool (221,843), and Benicàssim (180,000).
