FKP Scorpio Belgium has named Gideon Karting as its new Head Promoter, tasking him with overseeing
FKP Scorpio Belgium has named Gideon Karting as its new Head Promoter, tasking him with overseeing the development and execution of concerts and festivals in Belgium.
Jan Digneffe, MD of FKP Scorpio Belgium, expressed enthusiasm about the appointment: “We are absolutely thrilled to have Gideon join our team. Gideon and I have known each other for many years, and his passion for live music, along with his proven track record, make him the ideal person to lead our team of bookers and promoters, and to continue driving our growth in Belgium.”
With over 20 years in the music industry, Karting previously worked at MOJO Concerts, booking international stars like Lady Gaga, Adele, Charli XCX, One Direction, Bruno Mars, and Arctic Monkeys.
He also programmed major Dutch festivals, including Lowlands, North Sea Jazz, and Pinkpop, and later transitioned into artist management and writing.
