CTS Eventim has reported record-breaking revenue and earnings for 2024.

The company`s consolidated revenue increased by 19.1% to EUR 2.809 billion, while adjusted EBITDA grew by 21.9% to EUR 542.2 million.

The strong performance was attributed to a robust fourth quarter and international acquisitions.

CEO Klaus-Peter Schulenberg credited rising demand, organic growth, and strategic acquisitions for the company`s continued expansion saying: “Rising demand, organic growth, ongoing synergies and a successful international acquisition policy are the pillars of our robust growth. We have ensured that – in addition to our technologies – our processes and business models are becoming great exports. They are the basis on which we will integrate future acquisitions even more quickly, realise synergies even sooner and enhance our success and attractiveness as a partner for international acquisitions and equity investments.”

Growth in the Ticketing Segment
The global demand for live entertainment remained strong throughout 2024, benefiting the Ticketing segment significantly. Increased scalability and international expansion, along with the full consolidation of several recent acquisitions, contributed to the segment`s success.

Notable acquisitions included Chile’s Punto Ticket and Peru’s Teleticket in November 2023, See Tickets in June 2024, and France Billet in December 2024. These acquisitions are expected to drive additional synergies in the future.

The Ticketing segment recorded an annual revenue increase of 22.7%, reaching EUR 879.9 million, with adjusted EBITDA growing by 21.1% to EUR 416.5 million.

Live Entertainment Performance

The Live Entertainment segment also experienced growth, driven by successful productions and international tours. Notably, the EVENTIM LIVE production ‘Elf The Musical’ ranked as the fourth best-selling Broadway musical in December 2024. Other major contributors included touring exhibitions such as the Formula 1 and Harry Potter exhibitions, as well as high-profile concerts, including David Gilmour’s tour in Italy and the US.

The segment further benefited from operating key European venues, with future expansion planned through the ARENA MILANO project, set to be completed in late 2025, and a newly secured arena in Vienna. Live Entertainment revenue grew by 17.6% to EUR 1.971 billion, with adjusted EBITDA increasing by 24.4% to EUR 125.6 million.

Dividend and Outlook

In response to the company’s strong performance, CTS EVENTIM’s Executive Board and Supervisory Board plan to propose a record dividend payout of EUR 159.3 million at the Annual Shareholders’ Meeting in May 2025. This equates to EUR 1.66 per share, up from EUR 1.43 per share in the previous year.

Looking ahead, CTS EVENTIM expects moderate growth in both total revenue and adjusted EBITDA in 2025, assuming stable macroeconomic conditions.
