CTS Eventim Appoints Andrea Grancini as CEO of TicketOne

CTS Eventim, Europe’s leading ticketing and live entertainment provider and the world’s number two,
CTS Eventim, Europe’s leading ticketing and live entertainment provider and the world’s number two, has announced a key leadership change at its Italian subsidiary, TicketOne.
Andrea Grancini, currently serving as General Manager, has been appointed CEO of TicketOne, effective immediately. He will report directly to CTS Eventim CEO Klaus-Peter Schulenberg.
This transition sees longtime CEO Stefano Lionetti stepping down after 18 years at the helm. Lionetti will remain actively involved with the company, continuing as a Board Member and General Manager with a focus on Administration and Finance to ensure a smooth handover.
Grancini, a ticketing industry veteran with over 25 years of experience, has been with TicketOne since its founding. He has held leadership roles including General Manager and Board Member since 2018. Known for his in-depth industry knowledge and strong network, Grancini is expected to provide continuity and drive the next phase of TicketOne’s growth.
Under Lionetti’s leadership, TicketOne solidified its position as the dominant player in Italy’s ticketing market. His tenure included major technological advancements, strategic partnerships, and the company’s acquisition by cts eventim in 2008.
TicketOne handles more than 30,000 events annually and operates Italy’s leading ticketing platform, ticketone.it, which draws over 80 million visits per year. The company is a core part of the cts eventim Group’s global operations.
