Don McLean has signed with Day After Day Productions for worldwide touring representation, the company announced.
With a career spanning over five decades, McLean remains a significant figure in American music.
His most iconic song, “American Pie,” released in 1971, continues to connect with audiences across generations. The track has been recognized by the Library of Congress’ National Recording Registry and named one of the top five songs of the 20th century by the Recording Industry Association of America. It also maintains a strong presence in popular culture through frequent appearances in film, television, and advertising.
McLean`s cultural impact has also translated into notable milestones. In 2015, one of four handwritten lyric manuscripts for “American Pie” sold at auction for more than $1.2 million. He received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2019, and his music has experienced renewed popularity on platforms such as TikTok and YouTube.
