Live Nation Entertainment has announced it will begin operating Arena Cañaveralejo in Cali, Colombia.
The move, made in collaboration with OCESA and Grupo Páramo, marks the company’s first venue in the country.
The partnership aims to strengthen Colombia’s presence in the Latin American live music circuit, offering a regular stop for international and local artists. With rising demand for live performances across the region, the venue is expected to support touring activity and contribute to the country’s cultural and economic development.
Scheduled performances at Arena Cañaveralejo include concerts by Fonseca and Andrés Calamaro, signaling the venue’s growing role in regional entertainment. Grupo Páramo will oversee operations, with plans to bring a wide range of live events to the space.
Originally built in 1957, Arena Cañaveralejo underwent major renovations in 2021, supported by a multi-million dollar investment. It now holds nearly 15,000 people and is located in a prominent area of Cali. Local government support, particularly from the Mayor’s Office, has played a role in establishing the city as a destination for live events.
