Live events discovery platform Fever has acquired UK-born ticketing company DICE, the companies announced on Thursday.
The deal comes as Fever secures over $100 million in new equity funding, further bolstering its global expansion efforts.
While Fever has not disclosed the acquisition price, the announcement follows a Bloomberg report from 2023 suggesting DICE was in advanced talks to sell a significant stake, potentially valuing the company in the hundreds of millions.
Founded in 2014, DICE has raised over $200 million in funding to date. Its backers include MUSIC, Structural Capital, Ahdritz Holding LLC, and earlier support from SoftBank Vision Fund 2, Tony Fadell’s Future Shape, and Xavier Niel, among others.
The merger aims to create the world’s leading independent live entertainment tech platform, combining DICE’s fan-first ticketing experience with Fever’s global discovery reach. Fever says its platform spans over 40 countries, engaging 300 million users, while DICE reports over 10 million monthly active users and a doubling of ticket sales in the past two years.
“Joining forces allows us to scale even faster — reaching new cities, helping sell out more shows, and delivering the seamless experience fans expect,” said Phil Hutcheon, Founder & CEO of DICE.
DICE currently partners with major festivals and venues including Sonar, Newport Jazz and Folk Festival, London’s Alexandra Palace, and Rough Trade, while Fever collaborates with brands such as Primavera Sound, Fabrik, and Cercle.
The acquisition follows Fever’s latest equity raise, announced Wednesday (June 4), led by private equity firms L Catterton and Point72 Private Investments, alongside existing investors. Fever was last valued at $1.8 billion in 2023.
