Connecting the live music industry
Scooter Braun is stepping down as CEO of HYBE America after four years in the role, the company announced Tuesday.
Braun, known for managing stars like Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande, will remain involved with the company as a board director and senior adviser to HYBE Chairman Bang Si-Hyuk and CEO Jason Jaesang Lee. He also continues as one of HYBE’s largest individual shareholders.
Taking over the CEO role is Isaac Lee, who had been serving as chairman of HYBE Latin America since November 2023. HYBE America oversees global acts including BTS, NewJeans, and KATSEYE.
In a statement, Braun called his time at HYBE “one of the most inspiring chapters of my professional journey,” praising Bang as “a true visionary and a musical genius.”
Bang Si-Hyuk thanked Braun for his contributions to HYBE’s U.S. expansion, calling him “a visionary executive” and “a true catalyst for cultural exchange.”
Braun joined HYBE in 2021 when his company, Ithaca Holdings, was acquired by the South Korean entertainment giant. His next move remains undisclosed.
