The long-running Juicy Beats Festival will host its final edition in its current format at Dortmund’s Westfalenpark on July 25–26, 2025.
Just days after legendary German festival Rocco del Schlacko announced its final edition in 2025, Juicy Beats Festival has confirmed that its 30th anniversary event will also be the last in its current format.
The Promoters announced that the 30th anniversary event will also mark the end of an era for the North Rhine-Westphalia pop festival, which began in 1996 as a small house party attended by around 2,000 people.
Now one of the region’s largest festivals, Juicy Beats has grown significantly over the past three decades. However, promoters cite rising costs and broader challenges across the live events sector as the reason for a major shift.
“The general conditions for festivals have changed significantly in recent years,” the festival stated. “Increased costs in almost all areas and new challenges in the industry make it necessary to realign the Juicy Beats Festival.”
Following the 2025 event, the team plans to take a creative break before returning with a reimagined version of Juicy Beats in 2026.
