The concerts segment generated $5.95 billion in revenue, a 19% increase from the same quarter in 2024, setting a second-quarter record.

Adjusted operating income for the segment grew 33% to $358.7 million. Through July, Live Nation sold more than 130 million tickets, up 6% from last year, with global concert attendance rising 14% to 44 million fans. International attendance increased 30%, while arena attendance grew 20%.

Venue Nation, the company’s venue management arm, added four amphitheaters in the U.S. and one in Canada during the quarter, with additional venues planned for Mexico, Colombia, and Canada.

Ticketmaster revenue rose 2% to $742.7 million, supported by a 7% increase in gross transaction value to $9 billion. Fee-bearing ticket sales grew 4% to over 83 million, with strong gains internationally. Adjusted operating income for Ticketmaster declined 1% to $290.1 million.

Sponsorship and advertising revenue increased 9% to $340.6 million, boosted by new partnerships with Kraft Heinz, Airbnb, and Samsung. Venue naming rights deals were secured for TD Coliseum in Hamilton, Ontario, and Veikkaus Arena in Helsinki, Finland.

“Global expansion continues to drive touring growth, with fan attendance hitting new highs and ticket buying strong at every price point from VIP to the back row. To meet this momentum, we’re expanding our global venue portfolio and investing in the artists who make it all possible,” Michael Rapino, LN president and CEO, said. “We’re continuing to deliver record revenue and concert ticket sales, and with investments focused on high growth markets and fan experiences, we’re positioned to grow operating income and adjusted operating income by double-digits this year and for years to come.”

Live Nation said it expects momentum to continue through the remainder of 2025, with deferred concert event-related revenue up 25% to $5.1 billion. Venue Nation projects it will host about 70 million fans this year, with double-digit growth in international audiences anticipated for the second half.
