New Booker at 013 Poppodium

Tilburg’s 013 Poppodium in the Netherlands has announced that Gijs Garenfeld will join the venue as booker starting October 1.
Garenfeld previously worked at 013 from 2012 to 2022 as a marketer before moving to Eindhoven’s Effenaar, where he booked a broad range of concerts and events.
In his new role at 013, he will oversee general programming, contribute to the Roadburn Festival lineup, and manage the Headlines festival, which is set for its second edition in May 2026.
Garenfeld said "After almost three years away, returning to 013 feels like coming home, the pop venue where I once started volunteering. I`m really looking forward to further strengthening 013`s profile in my role as a programmer."
013’s Head of Programming, Daan Holthuis, welcomed his return, "With Gijs, we`re bringing in a booker who can truly make a difference. Thanks to his experience with 013, he knows the organization inside and out—and we know him as someone with vision, sharpness, and drive. We`re really looking forward to working with Gijs again."
Founded more than 20 years ago, 013 Poppodium has grown into one of the leading music venues in the Netherlands and internationally. It hosts around 350 concerts annually across its two main halls, with capacities ranging from 700 to 3,000.
Alongside major international tours, 013 is known for staging festivals such as Roadburn, De Unie, and Here’s the Thing, while also providing a platform for emerging artists through satellite venues across Tilburg.
