The Featured Artists Coalition (FAC) and Music Managers Forum (MMF) have announced that Pulp and Rough Trade Management’s Jeannette Lee will receive the Artist & Manager Partnership Award at the 2025 Artist & Manager Awards.
The honour recognises a three-decade collaboration between the Sheffield band and Lee, who joined Rough Trade Management in 1988 after emerging from London’s punk scene as a member of Public Image Ltd (PiL). Since beginning her work with Pulp in 1992, she has played a central role in guiding the group through landmark albums His ’n’ Hers, Different Class and This Is Hardcore, as well as their multiple comebacks and festival headline performances.
The award follows the release of Pulp’s Mercury-nominated 2025 album More, which topped the UK charts and supported a major international touring campaign.
“Pulp and Jeannette Lee’s partnership has left an indelible mark on UK music,” said Annabella Coldrick (MMF chief executive) and David Martin (FAC CEO) in a joint statement. “This award celebrates both their long-term collaboration and the wider impact they have had on music culture.”
The 2025 Artist & Manager Awards will take place on 20 November at Bloomsbury Big Top in London. The ceremony, hosted by BBC Radio 1Xtra’s Remi Burgz, will also recognise Craig Logan, who receives the Entrepreneur Award, and Soul II Soul, who are honoured with the Pioneer Award.
Launched in 2012, the awards highlight creative and commercial partnerships across the UK music industry.
