British pop singer-songwriter Lola Young has announced the cancellation of all her scheduled performances, citing the need to take a break for her health.
The decision follows an incident on September 27, when Young collapsed on stage during her set at the All Things Go festival at Forest Hills Stadium in New York. In a statement shared on social media, she wrote: “I’m going away for a while. It pains me to say I have to cancel everything for the foreseeable future.”
Young expressed regret to fans who had purchased tickets, assuring them that refunds would be issued. “I’m so sorry to let anyone down… I really hope you’ll give me a second chance once I’ve had some time to work on myself and come back stronger,” she added.
The artist has previously spoken publicly about her health challenges, including ADHD, schizoaffective disorder, and a period in rehab in 2024. Earlier this year, she withdrew from Audacy’s We Can Survive Concert due to mental health concerns and experienced illness during her debut Coachella performance.
Young rose to prominence through talent competitions in the UK before signing to a major label. Her 2023 single Messy, from her second album This Wasn’t Meant for You Anyway, spent four weeks at the top of the UK Singles Chart.
