Samantha O’Connor Joins MRG Live as Senior Talent Buyer

MRG Live, one of the Canada’s largest independent concert promoters, has appointed Samantha O’Connor as Senior Talent Buyer, in a move that also brings RAPSEASON, Canada’s leading hip-hop concert and culture platform, under its umbrella.
O’Connor joins from INK Entertainment, where she previously led the RAPSEASON brand.
Founded in 2015, RAPSEASON has built a strong reputation as an independent promoter, having produced concerts with major artists including Future, Cardi B, Post Malone, Central Cee, Summer Walker, and Daniel Caesar.
In her new role, O’Connor will continue to oversee and grow RAPSEASON across Canada and internationally.
“With the support and resources of MRG Live, I’m excited to continue growing the RAPSEASON brand, not only in Toronto but nationally and internationally,” said O’Connor. “This next chapter offers an incredible opportunity to expand our reach, connect with new audiences, and spotlight the talent that drives the culture forward.”
Under O’Connor’s leadership, RAPSEASON will expand across MRG’s Canadian venue network, which includes 14 properties such as Toronto’s Queen Elizabeth Theatre and Adelaide Hall, Vancouver’s Vogue Theatre, and The Revelry in Kelowna, British Columbia. MRG Live, part of The MRG Group, produces more than 1,000 shows annually and operates alongside the company’s media publication BeatRoute, which will integrate RAPSEASON-branded content.

The appointment and acquisition follow The MRG Group’s recent expansion moves in Canada, including new management agreements to oversee live entertainment bookings, operations, and event delivery for additional venues nationwide.
