Schwenkow, who led DEAG until 2024, had continued as an advisor before taking over Grandezza. DEAG said selective collaboration between the two companies may continue.

The sale supports DEAG’s strategy to focus on ticketing, international live formats and a streamlined corporate structure. "The sale of Grandezza is another important step in consistently implementing our long-term growth strategy and sustainably promoting the strategic development of DEAG. We thank all Grandezza employees for their dedicated and successful collaboration over the past years. We wish Mr. Peter Schwenkow continued success and all the best for his future entrepreneurial endeavors." said CEO Detlef Kornett.

Grandezza produces events such as Weihnachtscircus Regensburg, Kieler Weihnachtsdorf, and Urbanatix in Bochum.

Co-founder Thomas Schütte will return as managing partner, with plans to expand the company’s family entertainment portfolio.

Founded in 2011, Grandezza is based in Berlin and Essen and known for productions including Circus FlicFlac Exxtrem, Roncalli’s Salto Vitale, and Höhner Rock and Roll Circus.
