This year’s recipients include Ancienne Belgique in Brussels, Co-op Live in Manchester, M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool and AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong.

Forest Green Rovers FC — described by the United Nations as “the world’s greenest football club” — received certification for the fourth time for The New Lawn in Stroud. 

Glasgow’s OVO Hydro, the first arena to ever achieve the certification in 2021, is recognised for the third time, while London’s ABBA Voyage secures certification for the second year.

AGF, a not-for-profit organisation focused on driving environmental improvements across the global events sector, assesses venues through its AGF Framework. This includes self-assessment, site visits and the submission of post-event evidence, which is independently audited. The framework covers 11 key themes such as local environment, community, travel, food, energy, water, waste, EDI and governance.

AGF CEO Claire O’Neill said: “Venues are the backbone of the live indoor sector and touring circuit. The more venues that take sustainability seriously, the more artists have a song sheet to sing from that connects with their values and perpetuates a greener event sector for everyone. Hats off to the greener arenas and venues who made the grade in 2025.”

The certifications will be formally presented during the International AGF Awards 2026 ceremony at GEI18, held in partnership with the International Live Music Conference (ILMC) on 24 February in London.
