The German jazz trade fair and showcase festival jazzahead! will expand its Clubnight programme in 2026, adding events in Bremerhaven for the first time alongside its established programme in Bremen.
The initiative forms part of the event’s 20th anniversary celebrations.
The Bremen Clubnight will take place on April 24, 2026, with more than 80 acts performing across the city and Bremen-North.
The programme spans genres including jazz, rock, electronica and soul, with concerts hosted in a wide range of venues such as clubs, ships, museums, churches, bars and hotel lounges.
On April 25, jazzahead! will present its first Clubnight in Bremerhaven, involving seven venues, several of them located in the Alte Bürger district. Among the announced performances is a show by dance-funk band Mazaratee, featuring Italian-Caribbean musician Christopher Serazzi, at Pferdestall Bremerhaven.
The anniversary edition of jazzahead! will also include activities linked to Bremen’s twin cities Gdansk, Riga and Odessa.
In addition, a Clubnight focused on partner country Sweden will take place at Lankenauer Höft on the Weser River, featuring performances by the Emil Brandqvist Trio, Nine Sparks Riots, William Soovik Grand Finale and Bitoi.
