Bulgarian electronic music event Aura Festival will move to a new outdoor site at Sofia Airport Park for its 2026 edition, organisers have confirmed.
The festival is scheduled to take place from 19–21 June 2026.
The relocation follows the festival’s inaugural edition and is intended to support expanded production, increased capacity and extended operating hours. According to organiser Fest Team, the new site offers greater flexibility for large-scale staging, sound and visual production, while also benefiting from improved transport access via metro and road links.
The move to Sofia Airport Park removes earlier curfew limitations, allowing the festival to operate from early evening through to early morning across all three days. Organisers say this will enable broader programming and a more immersive event experience.
Aura Festival 2026 will be presented under the theme Temple of EOS, with the site transformed into a multi-stage open-air environment combining electronic music, visual design and architectural elements. Early artist announcements include a mix of international electronic acts, with further lineup details expected to be revealed in the coming months.
Promoters Fest Team said the relocation reflects both audience demand and the festival’s longer-term ambition to establish Aura as a large-scale international electronic music event, while contributing to Sofia’s growing profile as a European live-music destination.
