Cooymans has decided to pursue new professional opportunities, while Willem Twee continues to develop its broad music programming.

The venue states that strengthening its connection with the city and supporting Dutch and international talent development remain key pillars of its strategy. 

Following discussions held in a positive and constructive atmosphere, both parties have agreed to move forward separately into the next phase.

Marcia van den Wildenberg, director of Willem Twee, commented:

The venue said it will begin recruiting a new programmer and form a renewed programming team to further shape its creative and artistic direction in the coming years.
