Leading UK charity Music Venue Trust (MVT) has partnered with The National Lottery to launch Everywhere At Once, a coordinated nationwide live music initiative set to take place from 26–28 June 2026.

Scheduled to coincide with what would traditionally be Glastonbury Festival weekend, the three-day programme will see hundreds of grassroots music venues across the UK stage live performances simultaneously.

Venues from Inverness to Penzance are expected to participate, presenting a mix of established touring artists and emerging local talent.

The initiative is being delivered in collaboration with Save Our Scene and the Association of Independent Promoters. Organisers describe the project as a coordinated effort to spotlight the UK’s grassroots music infrastructure while driving direct financial support into venues and promoters.

Mark Davyd, CEO of Music Venue Trust, said the project demonstrates the scale and strength of the UK’s independent venue network. He noted that National Lottery backing will enable the programme to combine increased public visibility with practical investment for venues, reinforcing the role of grassroots spaces in sustaining the live music ecosystem beyond major cities and large-scale festivals.

The National Lottery’s involvement continues a funding relationship with MVT that began in 2021 as part of post-pandemic recovery efforts for the live sector. Previous joint initiatives, including Revive Live and United by Music, delivered hundreds of performances nationwide to help reactivate touring and venue operations following COVID-19 shutdowns.

Alastair Ruxton, Chief Impact Officer at Allwyn, operator of The National Lottery, said Lottery funding remains central to supporting arts activity across the UK. He added that the partnership recognises the essential role grassroots venues and promoters play in developing new talent and serving local communities, and that the initiative will create a nationwide moment centred on live music participation.

In addition to live programming, ticket buyers will have the option to donate to a selection of music and youth-focused charities at point of purchase, including War Child, Nordoff and Robbins, Help Musicians UK and Teenage Cancer Trust.

George Fleming of Save Our Scene said the initiative sends a strong message about the resilience and ongoing activity within the grassroots sector, particularly during the summer period, and highlighted the opportunity for venues to combine live performance with charitable fundraising.
