Connecting the live music industry
Spain’s live music market continues its upward trajectory, with new figures from Asociación de Promotores Musicales (APM) showing sustained revenue growth across the sector.
Live music in Spain reached a new historical milestone in 2025, with ticket sales revenues totaling €807.2 million. The figure builds on €725.6 million recorded in 2024, marking a continued upward trend rather than a short-term recovery.
According to the data, live music is consolidating itself as a sector with structural growth, supported by strong and increasingly diverse audience demand. The sector is also highlighted as a growing economic driver beyond ticket sales alone.
Regional markets led by Madrid and Catalonia
The Community of Madrid remains the leading market, generating €237.2 million in ticket sales and accounting for 29.4% of total revenues. Catalonia follows with €163.2 million (20.2%), while Andalusia ranks third with €108.7 million, despite a slight year-on-year decline.
Domestic touring drives ticket sales
Spanish artists continue to dominate the touring market. Joaquín Sabina’s “Hola y Adiós” tour ranked as the top tour with 383,633 tickets sold across 41 sold-out shows. Manuel Carrasco and Antonio Orozco followed among the top-performing domestic acts.
Other strong performers include Aitana, Dellafuente, Arde Bogotá, Lola Índigo, Fito & Fitipaldis and Rels B.
International acts remain key
International touring also contributed significantly, led by Ed Sheeran, Imagine Dragons and AC/DC as the top international ticket sellers.
The continued growth underscores Spain’s position as one of Europe’s key live markets, with strong domestic talent and international demand driving a multi-year expansion of the sector.
