The new division will focus on venue development and consultation, concert promotion and broader strategic entertainment initiatives. This includes involvement in a planned 10,000-capacity outdoor amphitheater in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, which is currently under development.

DWP Concerts will operate alongside the company’s existing festival and Talent Services activities and will be led by general manager and chief marketing officer Chamie McCurry. The move expands the company’s vertically integrated model beyond festivals, reflecting increased demand for services across multiple areas of the live music sector.

The division will offer support across areas including talent buying, marketing, venue operations, sponsorship, ticketing, production and food and beverage. It is already working with several venues in the United States, including the Iroquois Amphitheater, the Mercedes-Benz Amphitheater and the Ocean Center.

According to founder Danny Wimmer, the new division builds on the company’s experience in large-scale event delivery and audience development, with a focus on supporting venue partners in long-term growth.

As part of its early projects, DWP Concerts has partnered with the city of Elizabethtown to consult on and book the new amphitheater, which will be operated by Sports Facilities Companies. The venue is expected to become the largest concert amphitheater in central Kentucky, with further details including opening date and naming rights partner yet to be confirmed.

The launch also expands the company’s broader venue portfolio, which already includes more than 30 casino properties across the United States through its Talent Services division, led by Del Williams.

To support the rollout of DWP Concerts, Billy Hardison has joined the company to oversee talent buying and booking strategy across its venue clients. Based in Louisville, Hardison brings more than 30 years of experience in booking, promotion and venue operations, and will work alongside a team including marketing lead Kate Webster, production and promoter representatives Brandon Hinson and Eron Roy, with strategic input from Joe Litvag.
