Spain`s Reggaeton Beach Festival (RBF) has cancelled its entire 2026 edition and announced the closure of its operations, bringing an end to one of the country`s largest urban music festival brands after eight years.

The decision was confirmed by festival management in a statement, citing a deteriorating economic, financial and operational situation that had significantly affected the viability of the project.

The cancellation impacts all scheduled 2026 events in Spain, including dates planned for Alicante, Tenerife, Barcelona, Madrid, Mallorca, Santander and Nigrán.

According to organisers, a review conducted by the festival`s new management team identified issues that prevented them from guaranteeing the safe and successful delivery of the events. The company said the decision was taken to avoid further risks to festivalgoers, artists, partners and suppliers.

The 2026 edition had been set to feature a line-up of leading Latin and urban music artists, including Bryant Myers, Justin Quiles, El Alfa, Sech, Noriel, Hades66, Luar La L and Omar Courtz, among others.

Founded in 2018, Reggaeton Beach Festival grew into one of Spain`s most prominent reggaeton and Latin music events, operating a multi-city format and attracting hundreds of thousands of attendees across the country each summer.

Festival organisers acknowledged the impact the cancellation will have on ticket holders, artists, institutions, sponsors, suppliers and other stakeholders. They said they are now managing the financial, contractual and administrative consequences of the closure and will provide further information, including refund procedures, through official channels in the coming days.
