Pyrus was born in the Danish TV christmascalender back in the 90's. The first one he entered was "Alletiders Jul". Along came "Alletiders Julemand", "Alletiders Nisse" and "Alletiders Eventyr". Also, a movie was made, which is called "Pyrus på pletten". Pyrus is played by a Danish actor called "Jan Linnebjerg".

The christmas calender became very popular in Denmark, so in 2008 they travelled around Denmark, doing a stageshow called "Alletiders Show".

Pyrus is mostly known as a great and funny elf, and he is loved at all ages in Denmark.
He is joined by his co-actors Kandis, Gyldengrød, Josefine & Bertramsen, in all of the christmascalenders.
