X is Loaded were a 4-piece band from Bath, Somerset, who were active between 2000 and 2007. Prior to X is Loaded the band were known as Tenner, and they released two singles under this name on Fierce Panda and Food Records. After recruiting a new drummer and changing their name, the band released their first single, 'Massive Misguidance', in July 2002 on Bossmusic.

They moved over to Music For Nations in early 2004, and their next single, 'Laugh, Point & Wave', released in March 2004, went to number 1 on the Kerrang! TV chart, and received a great deal of play on MTV2, Xfm, and BBC 6 Music. After touring with bands such as Biffy Clyro, InMe, Yourcodenameis:milo, Million Dead, and Hell is for Heroes they released their third single, 'Thirteen Days' (June 2004), with their debut album 'Raw Nerve' followingin July. The album was well received, achieving four K's and a very enthusiastic review in Kerrang! Magazine. In November 2004 the band released the download-exclusive single 'Racketeer'.

Following the demise of the Music for Nations label, the band were left without a label, and in 2006 X is Loaded disbanded. However, the band released a posthumous single 'Momentum Fails' in March 2007, as well as a posthumous album 'Trench' in April 2007, on Sugar Shack Records.
