Peggy Lejonhjärta is Henrik Nilsson (vocals) Johan Persson (guitar), Jon Erik Persson (bass) and Torbjörn Nilsson (drums). Johan is also known for being a vocalist and guitarist in Lars Winnerbäck's band, Hovet.

The two pairs of brothers left their small home town for the bigger city, spoke alot about british chords and swedish lyrics and met Peggy Lejonhjärta on a cold winters day just before the millennium.

Two years later they received an award for being the band of the month on P3 Demo and got a gig on the Rookie festival in Hultsfred. They released their first album "Viskningar och rop" in autumn 2004.
