Anima Animus Animal is a dark, Sci-Fi journey of ambient electronic gothic opera. Classically Trained vocalist, and multi-media artist Alexis Karl of New York City and Synthesizer musician and affinity record label owner, Paul Ashton of Manchester England, explore the fusion of dark industrial melodic sounds with that of the sometimes ethereal, sometimes growling voice of Karl, who sings in a melange of ancient languages, including Sanskrit, Ancient Persian, Italian, French and Uzbek. Anima Animus Animal's debut album, Be Deathless, is a narrative about a woman transforming into a beast, a beast to a god, and a god to a celestial being. Live performances include dancers, trapeze artists, dancers and narrators. Be Deathless was released in May 2010
