Rod Jones (singer/guitarist of Idlewild) formed The Birthday Suit in Edinburgh in 2010. The band consists of Rod Jones, Jacqueline Irvine, David Jack, Steve Morrison, Séan McLaughlin and Catrin Pryce-Jones

The debut album The Eleventh Hour was released on 11/11/11.
