Governor Andy, born 1 December 1962 in Västerås, is a Swedish reggae artist.

Governor Andy began his career as a reggae musician in the band Free Speed ​​1979. He then sang in several bands before 1991 he moved to Stockholm, where he was instrumental in starting reggae clubs Trinity Sound, Slingshot Sound and Club Studio One. He debuted as a solo artist in 1997 with the single "Internet." The debut album would be delayed until 2002, when the dry bones valley was released. He has since released a further three albums, with songs such as Reggae profile, along with Jr. Eric .
