person About Kåre & The Cavemen

Kåre & The Cavemen was a Norwegian instrumental band. They were an important band in the garage underground culture in the 90's. The band has released several EP's and albums. The album Long Days Flight till Tomorrow is said to be one of the best ones.

Kåre And The Cavemen received some attention in Norway when they landed a deal with Norwegian National Television's brand new NRK2 channel in 1996. For two seasons they were the house band on the comedy/talk show called Direkte Lykke, gaining media attention for music and antics alike. When the debut album Jet Age was released in the spring of 1997 it peaked at #7 on the Norwegian album charts. They used the name Euroboys outside of Norway.

They toured a lot, and they later changed their name to Euroboys inside Norway as well. The band released their last domestic studioalbum, Getting out of nowhere in the year 2000. Then they broke up, and two of the members, guitarist Knut Schreiner and drummer Anders Møller continued with some new members, as Euroboys. Today Schreiner is the sologuitarist in the very famous Norwegian death punk band Turbonegro. And Euroboys is currently not playing togehter..

The linup at the end was:
Knut Schreiner: Guitar
Kåre João Erik Pedersen: Guitar, Vocals
Anders Møller: Percussion
Dag Gravem: Bass
Per Øydir: Organ and electicpiano
