There are a number of artists who have used the name DJ Pete:

1) DJ Pete aka Peter Kuschnereit aka Substance and one half of Scion. Berlin based DJ and producer of deep Basic Channel influenced techno. Former Tresor resident and staff at the legendary Hardwax record store. With René Löwe as Scion he has performed the "Arrange And Process Basic Channel Tracks" set around the world, as well as producing the first release on Basic Channel sublabel Chain Reaction. Also DJs alone as DJ Pete, playing a wide variety of techno, jacking Chicago trax, house, dubstep etc. Released the "Latifah" 12" on Surgeon's Counterbalance label in 2001, under the name DJ Pete.
