Ivan & The Parazol is a beat, rock band founded in 2010 in Budapest. Their music, presented in the '60s with a very immersive and amazingly relaxed nature, has so far shook the heads of both fans and critics. Their three albums were released, their first song "Take My Hand" ("Mama Don't You Recognize Ivan & The Parazol?" 2012) was the band's burst, and the song had been on the MR2 Petőfi Radio charts for months. Their second album (Mode Bizarre 2014) and "Together" became the anthem of the 2014 Sziget Festival.
The band has toured the American SXSW festival several times, playing in the UK and the Netherlands. An important point in their career so far has been their ability to play in front of the legendary Deep Purple, as well as being part of the Beaten Festival concert series by the Elijah band. Their third album, "The All Right Nows," was premiered in December 2015 on a double full house concert on the A38. They traveled back to America in the summer of 2017 to begin recording their fourth album at a legendary EastWest studio in Los Angeles, following a 4-station mini-tour. The first three songs were made by Grammy Award-winning expert William Anspach, and in early 2018 Ivan & The Parazol will return to Los Angeles to continue what he started!
