There are at least three artists with the name Chasms.

1. Culling influences from the avant underbelly of decades past, Chasms is the dark, swirling project of San Francisco-based songwriter Jess Labrador. Alongside collaborator Shannon Sky Madden, Labrador crafts mesmerizing dirges carved out by damaged percussion and hypnotizing guitars. Drenched in the dreaminess of early 4AD, Chasms wade through a blissed-out haze of melancholy with a blistering heaviness, making nods to doom, drone, industrial, and black metal.

2. Post-Hardcore band from New Brunswick, New Jersey. Released a 3 song EP in the summer of 2011 and are currently writing new material for their first full length release.

3. It's a warm summers night at your best friends halloween party. The girl that you love is across the room, your eyes meet and dancing ensues. The hours roll by, all you can feel is this girl. Across the other side of the room, a shadowy figure in possession of a blonde moustache and his parents old cassette tapes sings his heart out, and you feel the melodies running through your bones, circulating and intensifying the feelings you have for this girl. This shadowy figure, Chasms, shares the feeling of your first kiss with this girl.
