James Edward Fauntleroy II (born May 16, 1984) is an American singer, songwriter and record producer from Inglewood, California. A former member of the Y's and Cocaine 80s, as well as a current member of 1500 or Nothin', he is best known for featuring on tracks by high-profile artists such as Travis Scott, Frank Ocean, Kendrick Lamar, SZA, Drake, J. Cole, Vince Staples, Big Sean, Jay-Z, and John Mayer as well as writing songs for artists including Bruno Mars, Jordin Sparks, Chris Brown, Beyoncé, Rihanna, and Justin Timberlake. In 2014 and 2018, Fauntleroy won the Grammy Award for Best R&B Song (Justin Timberlake's "Pusher Love Girl" and Bruno Mars' "That's What I Like").

Fauntleroy has also released music of his own outside of songwriting/producing/features. He was the main vocalist in the Cocaine 80s collective (spearheaded alongside No I.D.), and in 2014, around the time the collective was starting to disband, he released his debut solo project String Theory Acoustic; followed by a Christmas mixtape entitled The Warmest Winter Ever. In 2015, he released his third project The Coldest Summer Ever. Warmest Winter II, a sequel to the 2014 Christmas mixtape, was released in 2016, with 2017's DOJO being his most recent project.
