There are at least four bands named The Interpreters. The first, a 60's power pop revival band from Philadelphia, only released one album, Back in the U.S.S.A., in 1998. They performed at the 2000 Republican National Convention in Philadelphia.

The second band named The Interpreters are a band from Norwich in Norfolk, England. they fully formed in 2005 . Since then they have supported bands such as The Holloways, The Rascals, The Sugars and more and are set to release their debut single in January 2009.
Members of The Interpreters include :
Mike Prada - lead guitar & backing vocals
Will Birkbeck - rhythm guitar & lead vocals
Duncan Baker - drums
Tom Ayers - bass


The third is a Duo that perform at Renaisance Faires: they can be found on myspace at http://www.myspace.com/interpreters

And last but not least important, The Interpreters, chicago soul jazz combo which played during the 60's. Members: Cleo Griffin, George Patterson, Tom Washington.
George Patterson also known as Dimp Paco later became known for working with many famous acts of the time like The Isley Brothers, Shirley Scott, Deniece Williams and many more.
