The Germany-based ticketing and live entertainment group generated consolidated revenue of €1.51 billion during the first six months of the year, up 16.9% on the same period in 2025. Adjusted EBITDA increased 12.4% to €225.4 million.

Live Entertainment drives earnings growth

CTS Eventim`s Live Entertainment division recorded revenue of €1.06 billion in the first half, an increase of 18.6% year-on-year.

Adjusted EBITDA in the segment rose by 57.1% to €52.9 million, while the adjusted EBITDA margin improved to 5.0%.

The company attributed the increase to a strong programme of tours, concerts and festivals, particularly in Germany, Italy and the US. Its venue operations also made what the group described as a material contribution to earnings.

Second-quarter Live Entertainment revenue increased 9.0% to €657 million, with adjusted EBITDA up 7.7% to €23.8 million.

Festival portfolio supports performance

CTS Eventim highlighted several major European festivals as contributors to its second-quarter performance, including sold-out editions of Rock am Ring and Rock im Park in Germany and the anniversary edition of Hurricane Festival.

The company said demand for its EVENTIM LIVE festival brands demonstrated the strength of its international events portfolio.

According to Pollstar`s 2025 global rankings, the Eventim Group was the world`s second-largest concert promoter. Its live entertainment activities span more than 25 countries and include promoters, festivals, tours and a portfolio of major European venues.

Ticketing revenue also increases

The group`s Ticketing division generated revenue of €473.3 million during the first half, up 13.9% year-on-year.

Adjusted EBITDA increased by 3.4% to €172.5 million, representing a margin of 36.4%.

Ticketing growth accelerated during the second quarter, when revenue rose 25.8% to €254.3 million.

Group outlook unchanged

Across the group, EBIT increased 15.3% to €174.6 million during the first half, while earnings per share rose 34.2% to €1.25.

CTS Eventim CEO Klaus-Peter Schulenberg said: “Against a backdrop of challenging economic and geopolitical conditions, CTS EVENTIM is achieving steady and profitable growth. Our robust position in Europe and our expanding global presence underline the enduring strength of our business model. It provides the foundations for continuing on our path of long-term growth in the years ahead.”

The company`s executive board has maintained its existing forecast for the full 2026 financial year.

CTS Eventim markets more than 300 million tickets annually through its ticketing systems and also owns and operates a broad portfolio of live entertainment businesses and venues. The group generated revenue of €3.1 billion in 2025.
