Sound of Liberation announces new Head Booker

German booking agency and promoter Sound of Liberation has named Alan Covic as its new main booker, coinciding with preparations for the company’s 20th anniversary in 2025. Over the years, Sound of Liberation has become a key player in the European heavy music scene, organising tours and festivals across genres like doom, stoner rock, and psychedelic music. Its portfolio includes co-founding events such as Desert Fest, Keep It Low, and Up In Smoke, alongside operating its own merchandise store and record label since 2020. Alan Covic brings extensive experience to the team, having served as program director at Scala in Ludwigsburg and booking for Mini Rock Festival in Horb. He also founded the agency yetnotnow music consulting, which focuses on tour booking, artist management, and event consultation. The company plans to mark its milestone anniversary with the Sound of Liberation SOL Sonic Ride, a festival taking place on March 29, 2025, in Cologne`s Carlswerk Victoria and Club Volta. Featured acts include Colour Haze, Slomosa, My Sleeping Karma, and others.
