Slayer, Mastodon and Kerry King sign with IAG for touring

US-based Independent Artist Group (IAG) has signed Slayer, Mastodon and Kerry King for representation outside the U.S. and Canada.

The artists were signed by and will be represented by IAG global head of artist development Nick Storch and global touring executive vice president Mike Arfin.

“Slayer, Mastodon and Kerry King have passionate fanbases based on their incredible artistry, discographies and track record of extraordinary live performances,” Storch and Arfin said in a joint statement. “We can’t wait to get started building upon their tremendous international popularity to create memorable tours that match the scale and legacy they have created.”

The signings continue IAG’s growing roster and influence in international touring, while also demonstrating the agency’s strength in rock and heavy music.

Management for Slayer, Mastodon and Kerry King remains with Rick Sales and Kristen Mulderig of Rick Sales Entertainment. In the U.S. and Canada, the acts continue to be represented by Pinnacle Entertainment.

Kerry King is expected to tour both as the lead guitarist for Slayer and as a solo artist. The band, formed in the early 1980s, remains a key name in thrash metal and has continued to perform select high-profile shows following its 2018 farewell tour.
