ILMC 39 expects 3,000 live music professionals in London
The International Live Music Conference (ILMC) will return to London from 23–26 February 2027, with organisers expecting around 3,000 live entertainment professionals to take part across four days of events.
More than 1,700 delegates are expected for the core ILMC conference at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, bringing together senior executives from across the international live music and entertainment business.
The wider ILMC week will also include Touring Entertainment Live, the Soho Calling showcase programme and the 2027 Arthur Awards.
New conference layout
ILMC 39 will introduce what organisers describe as the biggest changes to the conference layout since the event moved to the Royal Lancaster four years ago.
The ground floor will be reconfigured to create ILMC Central, a larger networking area designed to accommodate several hundred delegates at the same time.
The Arthur Awards will also move to a new venue, taking place for the first time at the London Hilton Park Lane. The event, hosted by CAA’s Emma Banks, is expected to welcome around 600 guests.
Greg Parmley, head of ILMC, said: “The world’s largest gathering of live music and entertainment professionals is back, ready to provide a reinvigorated space to serve the needs of the most influential execs in the business.”
He continued: “Touring Entertainment Live and Soho Calling are growing year on year, the core ILMC conference remains the place where the most important issues are debated and the biggest deals are done and the Arthur Awards 2027 will be the best yet.
“This year we are focusing on two of the most compelling areas of the global business with our Asia Live and Latam Live programmes, as well as bringing conversations focussed on younger executives into the heart of the main conference, with a number of routes to enable free or discounted entry to ensure that the next generation of leaders are well-represented.”
Focus on Asia, Latin America and emerging executives
The 2027 programme will include dedicated Asia Live and Latam Live strands, focusing on developments and opportunities in those regions.
ILMC is also expanding its programme aimed at younger industry professionals, including discounted and complimentary routes into the conference.
Legends Global will again support the Alia Dann Swift Bursary Scheme, which provides 30 young professionals with complimentary conference passes and mentoring opportunities.
Touring Entertainment Live and Soho Calling return
Touring Entertainment Live will take place on Thursday 25 February, focusing on large-scale branded entertainment, exhibitions and touring family shows.
Soho Calling will return on Wednesday 24 February, with showcases scheduled across eight Central London music venues.
