Australian Festival to End After 13 Years
Australia’s One Electric Day will stage its final edition at Werribee Park in Victoria this November, bringing the concert event to a close after 13 years.
Organisers confirmed on 23 September that the 2026 edition will be the last at the site, although no reason has been given for the decision.
“After 13 fantastic years we are sad to announce that this will be the final edition of One Electric Day at Werribee Park,” organisers said in a statement.
The final event will be headlined by Jimmy Barnes, with The Living End, Ian Moss, Baby Animals, Chocolate Starfish and Bachelor Girl also on the bill.
Since launching, One Electric Day has presented a range of leading Australian acts including John Farnham, Paul Kelly, Hoodoo Gurus, Daryl Braithwaite, The Black Sorrows, The Living End and Baby Animals.
Reflecting on the event’s history, organisers said: “What a ride it has been, in one of Australia`s most spectacular locations. We have been honoured to present some of Australia`s greatest artists: Jimmy Barnes, John Farnham, Hoodoo Gurus, Paul Kelly, The Living End, The Black Sorrows, Daryl Braithwaite and Baby Animals, just to name a few.”
The organisers also thanked the event’s production teams, audience, Parks Victoria and the tenants at Werribee Park for their support over the past 13 years.
One Electric Day has been staged annually at Werribee Park, southwest of Melbourne, and has established itself as a major single-day rock event focused primarily on established Australian artists.
